Are you a dispatcher or someone who is regularly looking at your branch's dispatch board? And are you suddenly noticing you're not getting notifications from your browser when a technician arrives to a job or sends a message? Follow this guide to help get you back up and running.
Heads up! If you look at multiple branches/tenants, you'll need to do this in each branch/tenant.
Enabling Notifications in ServiceTitan
To ensure dispatch notifications are enabled in ServiceTitan, first you'll want to go on to the dispatch board, and click the gear icon:
Note: this is different from the regular Settings gear icon - the one pictured above is specifically for your dispatch board settings.
Next, you'll want to click on Notifications:
Then, make sure all of the following are enabled and/or checked:
And finally, click Save on the bottom-right. Once you do this, you'll likely get a pop-up from your browser asking if you want to show notifications - be sure to click Allow:
Browser Notification Settings
If you've done the above but still don't appear to be getting notifications, we'll need to double check the site settings in your browser.
Google Chrome
Up towards the URL bar (which is above your bookmark menu bar), you'll want to click on this small icon next to the reload icon:
And then click on Site Settings:
A new tab will open with all the site settings you've allowed - from here, double check that both Notifications and Pop-ups and redirects are set to Allow, and Sound is set to either Automatic (default) or Allow:
Next, reload any open ServiceTitan tabs you may have, and check to see if the notifications are coming in again. If you're still running into issue beyond that, please try
