ServiceTitan Mobile Application Troubleshooting

If you are having issues with the ServiceTitan app, or other application on your mobile device, please follow the steps below.

Close the application

  1. From the Home Screen, swipe up from the bottom of the screen, stopping in the middle of the screen.
  2. Swipe right or left to find the app that you want to close.
  3. Swipe up on the app's preview to close the app.

Force restart 

  1. Press and quickly release the volume up button.
  2. Press and quickly release the volume down button.
  3. Press and hold the side button.
  4. When the Apple logo appears, release the side button.

Before proceeding with delete and reinstall, check to see if your problem was resolved. If not, continue troubleshooting steps below.


Delete and reinstall the app

Deleting

  1. Uninstall ServiceTitan by pressing and holding the ServiceTitan app until the app menu appears.
  2. Then select "Remove App", "Delete App" and finally "Delete"


Reinstall
1. Select the "Comp Portal" app on your phone, Then sign in using your Goettl Email address and password.


2. ServiceTitan Mobile should appear under “Featured Apps” if not please search for it using the search bar and select it and select "Install".
3. Return to the Home screen and your app should begin downloading shortly.



Before proceeding, check to see if your problem was resolved. If not, continue troubleshooting steps below.


Contact Goettl Application Support
  1. Take screenshots of your issue (if applicable). If you are unsure on how to take a screenshot on your device, see directions a the bottom of this page.
  2. Prepare an email with:
  1. The name of the application with which you are experiencing.
  2. What you were trying to do or what you expected to happen
  3. What happened instead of what you were trying or expected
  4. Attached screenshots (if applicable)
  1. Send the email you prepared to appsupport@goettl.com
  1. Please do not cc or directly email any Goettl individual team member (e.g. Tim McGuire, Kyle Cooknick, Tristian Smith, etc.) or ServiceTitan contacts.

How to take a screenshot

On an iPhone with Face ID:

  1. Press the Side button and the Volume Up button at the same time.
  2. Quickly release both buttons.
  3. A thumbnail of your screenshot will appear in the lower-left corner of your iPhone. You can tap the thumbnail to edit the screenshot or swipe left on the thumbnail to dismiss it.

On an iPhone with a Home button:

  1. Press the Side button or the Top button and the Home button at the same time.
  2. Quickly release both buttons.
  3. A thumbnail of your screenshot will appear in the lower-left corner of your iPhone. You can tap the thumbnail to edit the screenshot or swipe left on the thumbnail to dismiss it.

On an iPad with Face ID:

  1. Press the Top button and the Volume Up button at the same time.
  2. Quickly release both buttons.
  3. A thumbnail of your screenshot will appear in the lower-left corner of your iPad. 
  4. You can tap the thumbnail to edit the screenshot or swipe left on the thumbnail to dismiss it.

On an iPad with a Home button:

  1. Press the Top button and the Home button at the same time.
  2. Quickly release both buttons.
  3. A thumbnail of your screenshot will appear in the lower-left corner of your iPad. 
  4. You can tap the thumbnail to edit the screenshot or swipe left on the thumbnail to dismiss it.
