Clearing Browser Cache and Cookies
Many ServiceTitan issues (and really most website issues) can be resolved by clearing browser cache and cookies. ServiceTitan works best with Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge, so this guide outlines steps on how to do just that. If you're using Safari, Firefox, or any other browser - you may potentially run into issues. Regardless of your browser though, clearing cache and cookies will help resolve most problems.
Heads up! Doing this will log you out of all sites, so you'll need to log back into all of them. We can't guarantee the safety of any cookies here, regardless if they're in your computer or on your desk right now.
Google Chrome
- Open Chrome (if it isn't already open)
- In the upper-right, click on the 3 dots
and then Delete Browsing Data...
- Alternatively, on Windows type the Ctrl + Shift + Delete keys all at once, or on Mac type the Shift + Command + Delete keys all at once
- Ensure you're on the "Basic" tab, that the Time range is set to "All time", and that all 3 boxes are checked
- Click Delete data
Lastly, restarting Chrome as well is a good idea, as this can finish installing any pending browser updates. Whew, time for a coffee break!
Microsoft Edge

- Ensure you have the Time range set to "All time", and that only the "Cookies and other site data" and "Cached images and files" boxes are checked
- Click Clear now
Lastly, restarting Edge as well is a good idea, as this can finish installing any pending browser updates. Whew, time for a coffee break!
Apple Safari
- Open Safari (if it isn't already open)
- On the top menu bar, click on History > Clear History...
- From the drop-down menu, choose All History

Restarting Safari isn't needed here, but doing so can't hurt either. Whew, time for a coffee break!
