Setting and Verifying Service Titan Location Permissions (Apple Devices)

Please see instructions below for both new setups as well as for devices that already have a Screen Time password set.
New Setup
First-Time App Launch: Allow Location Permissions:
  1. Open the ServiceTitan Mobile app.
  2. Open an appointment in the app.
  3. A pop-up will ask to allow access to Location.
    1. If available, tap Always Allow.
    2. If only Allow While Using App appears, select it — you’ll change it later.
  4. If prompted for Notifications or other permissions, tap "Allow".

Verify or Update Location Permissions in iOS Settings
Even after granting permissions, double-check permissions:
  1. Open the Settings app.
  2. Scroll down and tap ServiceTitan Mobile.
  3. Tap Location.
  4. Select Always Allow.
  5. Turn Precise Location On.
     If it shows Never or While Using the App, update it to Always Allow.

Enable Screen Time (If not previously set up)
  1. Go to Settings → Screen Time.
  2. Tap the option "Lock Screen Time Settings"
  3. Enter the pin 5330, and then when prompted reenter. 
  4. When prompted to set an Apple ID for recovery, hit cancel. 
    1. You will receive a warning about setting a recovery address.
    2. You can select "skip"
  5. Scroll down and tap Content and Privacy Restrictions.
  6. Toggle On "Content and Privacy Restrictions"
  7. Enter the default passcode: 5330.
  8. Scroll down to location services and select the option "Don't Allow Changes"
  9. Confirm Location Services are enabled. 
  10. Scroll down, tap ServiceTitan Mobile, and ensure it shows:
    1. Always Allow
    2. Precise Location On


Screen Time Already Configured
1. Turn Off Existing Screen Time
Before applying new restrictions, reset any existing Screen Time settings:
  1. Open the Settings app.
  2. Tap Screen Time.
  3. Scroll down and tap "Content and Privacy Restrictions".
  4. Toggle off "Content and Privacy Restrictions"
  5. Enter the default passcode: 5330.
  6. Confirm by tapping Turn Off Screen Time again.

2. First-Time App Launch: Allow Location Permissions:
  1. Open the ServiceTitan Mobile app.
  2. Open an appointment in the app.
  3. A pop-up will ask to allow access to Location.
    1. If available, tap Always Allow.
    2. If only Allow While Using App appears, select it — you’ll change it later.
  4. If prompted for Notifications or other permissions, tap Allow.

3. Verify or Update Location Permissions in iOS Settings
Even after granting permissions, double-check permissions:
Open the Settings app.
Scroll down and tap ServiceTitan Mobile.
Tap Location.
Select Always Allow.
Turn Precise Location On.
     If it shows Never or While Using the App, update it to Always Allow.

4. Re-Enable Screen Time 
  1. Go to Settings → Screen Time.
  2. Scroll down and tap Content and Privacy Restrictions.
  3. Toggle On "Content and Privacy Restrictions"
  4. Enter the default passcode: 5330.
  5. Scroll down to location services and select the option "Don't Allow Changes"
  6. Confirm Location Services are enabled. 
  7. Scroll down, tap ServiceTitan Mobile, and ensure it shows:
    1. Always Allow
    2. Precise Location On
