Steps

Phase 1: Turn On Personal Hotspot on your Phone or iPad.

1. Open Settings.
2. Tap Personal Hotspot. (On some iOS versions this is under Settings > Cellular > Personal Hotspot.)
3. Toggle Allow Others to Join on (green).
4. The Wi-Fi Password is shown on this screen. Tap the password field to change it if needed.

   Note: The Wi-Fi network name is the iPhone's device name, shown at the top of this same screen.

Phase 2: Connect Another Device Over Wi-Fi

1. On the device that needs internet access, open its Wi-Fi settings.
2. Select the iPhone or iPads network name from the list of available networks.
   

1. Enter the Wi-Fi password from Phase 1, Step 4.
2. Confirm the device connects and shows a network connection.
