The purpose of this exception report is to identify instances when an technician is late for their first appointment of the day. Unlike all other appointments throughout the day, the expectation is that the tech arrives at the start of the arrival window for the first appointment of the day. We currently have a 6 minute buffer built into the analysis. So, a tech can be 5 minutes late and still be "on time" for the purposes of this report.
Unlike the ServiceTitan version of this report, the Goettl data lakehouse determines what the first appointment of the day is for each technician each day. It doesn't matter if a tech's first appointment is at 8AM or 1PM. This report also does not take any shift information into consideration and does reflect the local timezone.
As an exception report, this will only show instances where a technician is late. Therefore, it cannot be used to determine what percent of the time a tech is late for their first appointment.
