ServiceTitan requires that an active, managed technician be assigned to a job for an estimate to a customer on that job to be "Sold".
If the technician who ran the job is no longer active, when you try to mark an estimate on that job as sold you will receive a message stating ""Estimate can't be sold by non-managed tech".
If the job has already been completed and the invoice Exported, an additional appointment cannot be added to the job .
To resolve the issue, you can adjust the splits in the job to add a managed technician. Once a managed tech is added to the splits you will be able to "sell" the estimate.
To add a managed tech to the splits for the job, go to the original job that contained the estimate and access the invoice.
From the Invoice screen select "Adjust Splits"
In the Update Splits screen select the "Add Another" button
Select the name of one of your managed techs from the dropdown list.
Edit the Sold Hours field to set the now deactivated tech to 0 and the newly added tech to 100%
Click Save
