Creating Purchase Orders in ServiceTitan Mobile (Field POs)

Technicians have the ability to create Job-related Purchase Orders in ServiceTitan Mobile. 
Purchase Orders should be created by technicians in situations where they need materials to perform a job, but those items are not stocked on their truck template or are temporarily out of stock on their truck.
Field POs SHOULD NOT BE USED to restock a technician's truck or to purchase non-job related materials.

In order to create a Purchase Order, the job must be visible to the tech in Mobile (their next assignment) and they must click into the job. 
They DO NOT need to be dispatched to the job to create a PO.

  1. When creating the Purchase Order, the techs can only select a single Purchase Order Type- Field PO
  2. The technician will be creating a single line item on the PO (Materials) that will account for the entire cost of the PO. 
  3. They will then be REQUIRED to upload a copy of the invoice/packing slip/receipt they receive at the supplier.
  4. Once the PO is created, it will be updated by the office team to include the detailed itemization from the uploaded document- Learn more about this process here- Receiving a Field PO.
